I am in love with MySpace. . .

. . .And maybe just a tish obsessed.

But I was scared of it for a long time. The only things I'd heard about it was the bad. Like the super-stalkers out for blood. But my brother had told me about it, so I decided to check it out.

Now I've spent the past two weeks catching up with classmates that I haven't seen since graduation. Some even from California that I haven't seen since I was 12! It's AWESOME!

So, MySpace, I'm sorry. I'm sorry that I let all the negative press get to me. And I'm sorry that I never gave you a chance when I first heard about you.

I also got a bit of exciting news last night--I'm going to be a ballarina. Or a tap-dancer. Or something like that! I had been wishing that the girl who teaches dance in town would do an adult class, and last night one of my friends told me that she is! Starting in September! I'm soooo excited! I used to take ballet when I was little, but it interfered with my "Muppet Babies" watching, so after a year (and a jump to the advanced class), I dropped out. And I've hated myself for it for years. Hopefully it's like riding a bike & it will all come back to me right away. Or you'll be seeing my uncooridnated ass on America's Funniest Home Videos as I careene off the stage.

Oh I HATE the MySpace. More specifically: I hate when people that know my real email address email me THROUGH MySpace. Then I have to log in just to read their email. Gah. Glad you're enjoying it though!

I've been wanting to take dance lessons, too - thanks to So You Think You Can Dance! I am SO out of shape. I'm thin, but if you make me walk up 5 flights of stairs, I'll be sore for a week. It's quite sad. So if you take the classes: STRETCH STRETCH STRETCH!

Loving your blog, i notice that you love the same ice-cream as I do and are reading one of my favourite books, not only that but I'm pleased to announce that I'm a huge fan of Wicked the musical, so much so that my 2 year old asks me to put "one short day" so she can sing along!!

I was scared of MySpace for a long time too, but then a former co-worker convinced me to sign up. Then I started talking to random people from high school all over again. It's pretty neat like that.

Ohhh, Muppet Babies kept me from so many things, including sleep! When Nickelodeon decided it wasn't good enough for prime watching hours anymore, I would get up by 5:30 to make sure I saw it. I can't get up by 5:30 for ANYTHING anymore...

Know what else is great about myspace? The MUSIC. I've found a bunch of musicians I loved who seemed to disappear from the mainstream, and you can catch up with their careers and find new music you didn't know existed! So much fun.
