For some reason your site wouldn't let me post a comment on your latest entry.

I am a Minnesotian born and raised. There are so many contridictions to one's life depending on where they "live" at the moment. Truely embrace everything that you come to experience, no matter where your dwelling may be. I was born and raised on the "iron range/ boundry waters" of Minnesota, which is completely different from where I am at now, which is west of Minneapolis. I love the fact that I was raised in a small town! I've learned so much more about the meaning of friends and family/ compared to trendiness and clickiness of the suburban lifestyle. I have slowly grasped the difference in the so-called "red-neck girl" vs."city girl," and I have never found anyone more true in love, and friendship than a person who cares and loves me for who I am.... and to me those people have been from my "red-neck side."

Just something to ponder. Good luck on your ventures. And if you like to experience life, travel up north to the north shore and take a camping trip.

The 80's were really something, I agree. Carrie, you're such an interesting person. I loved reading your list and found some things that I can relate to like becoming the characters from my fave shows and making up stories with Barbie and Ken. :) and so many more. I'm glad that through this list, I was able to know you more. I'm gonna put a link to your site on my side bar.

By the way, I read your comment on my making beaded jewelry. I'm happy to know there's a fellow blogger who beads. When you have the time, I hope you'll check out my new (very simple) design at my blog.

Take care always!
